Hey! Welcome to summer! This is my favourite season, which is why I wanted to share with you some of the things I need to get myself in the perfect mood. Enjoy!

Bright Nails

I don’t know about you but bright nails just remind me of summer. Out come the neons and pastels, and the burgundy shades go into hibernation. Every summer I aim to refresh my polish collection, here are some of my favourites:

Dry Shampoo

The sun takes a toll on my hair, so if I have 2nd day hair, a little spritz of dry shampoo really gives my hair a new lease of life. I like to use the Batiste dry shampoo as it is cheap and does not give your hair white patches, which others do.

Thermal Spa Water

This is a super easy way to keep your face and body incredibly hydrated. Its so small, therefore convenient to squeeze into your bag. I absolutely love it as it keeps me so cool on a hot summer’s day.

I personally find that in the summer, the last thing I want to wear are boots or high heels, but to just rock a pair of trainers instead. That’s why I recently added to my trainer collection a pair of low top converse, which I highly recommend if you haven’t purchased already.

Sun Cream

For the wellbeing of your skin, I would suggest buying a sun cream, even if UK weather can be very unpredictable. I bought a travel size bottle, easier for application throughout the day, from Boots and it does the job, plus extra (it moisturises my face too).

For me, these are a staple for summer because they are so comfortable as well as making it super easy to be a great #OOTD. I bought mine from New Look for ยฃ15 (pictured below, but they are readily available anywhere, so go and check them out!

With summer comes festival season, and with that comes lots of new music. I made a Spotify playlist last year, and considering it was such a hit, I thought I would do it again. Feel free to party along to these tracks, which will be updated weekly right across summer!
