Another year gone, another year older. I absolutely love looking back on the years, highlighting both the good and bad parts. But here I am to share it with you guys, so sit back, relax with a cuppa as we go back through my last 365 days!

Favourite Music:

This year I have grown to like the music my parents grew up with, and found a true love for both Frank Sinatra and Phil Collins. However, my Spotify 2017 year in review suggests otherwise, here are my favourite artists of this year.

Favourite Films:

In all honesty, I have watched so many films this year that it is very difficult to pinpoint one favourite. Here are my top 5 instead:

Get Out: Usually horrors don’t phase me too much, I can watch it and feel completely fine afterwards. This film however shook me up quite a bit. A tense thriller, Get Out is about a Black man meeting his Caucasian in – laws. Nothing could go wrong right? A great watch.

Wonder Woman: The next instalment of the DC franchise continues with Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. Personally, I was not a huge fan of Batman v Superman, so this film was a massive improvement and I absolutely love it.

John Wick 2: Following a great first film, John Wick 2 was just as good as the first, if not better. Plus, Keanu Reeves is just dreamy.

Spiderman : Homecoming: When I first heard that this film was being remade so soon after the Andrew Garfield version I was very surprised, but honestly this version is how 10x better. Probably my favourite film of the year, if I really had to choose.

Logan Lucky: I watched this film very recently and I must say it is very well made. And with stars such as Daniel Craig, Channing Tatum, Seth McFarlane, Adam Driver and Hilary Swank to name just a few, it is definitely a great film.

Favourite Purchases:

Mac Fix Plus – This product has become a staple in my routine, which I am definitely going to repurchase. This primer water does wonders in keeping my make up in place all day and feels so fresh on the skin. Love it.

Benefit Dallas – Although marketed as a blush, this product is best used as a bronzer. It smells divine and is so versatile, I’ve used this every day since I received it in a giveaway and it still looks brand new!

Just Smile London – Just at the point I was looking at teeth whitening, along came Just Smile London. Although I received this at a discounted price, I really do like this product and it does work, as an avid tea and coffee drinker it lifted a lot of the stains. Would totally recommend!

Favourite TV Shows:

House of Cards: When watching it, it is so clear why they’ve won so many awards, because everything looks so effortless.  Every episode leaves a wow feeling, due to the never ending twists and turns in the storyline.  Even if you’re not into politics, it is still a great watch and I would highly rate it.

13 Reasons Why: I just couldn’t not mention this show, because everyone is talking about it. I am not even one to binge shows (my distraction levels are really high), but I watched all 13 episodes in two days, it was just that gripping. This thriller leaves everyone, characters and myself, asking questions, but highly emphasises the importance of speaking out if you feel this way. A truly gripping show and one of the best I’ve watched in a while.

I hope you all had a wonderful new years, what were your favourites of 2017?
