Evening Makeup Look

February 22, 2018

Hey everyone, hope you’re all okay! Looking back at my posts, it’s been ages since I have done a makeup tutorial. Uni life has given me the perfect opportunity to experiment with makeup looks so I thought to share one of my faves with you. What products are you all loving at the moment?

After my Skincare Routine , I prime my face. I have been recently loving The Ordinary Silicone Primer, a little really goes a long way (only a pea sized amount is needed) . Combined with my Mac Fix+, there is no worry that my makeup won’t last all night.

To cover the redness I conceal my face with Collections Lasting Perfection Concealer. Such a hyped about product, and a staple in my daily makeup routine. I then dampen my beauty blender and apply my foundation – Milani Conceal + Perfect in shade 6, Sand Beige. As it is a very thick formula, only a pump and a half is needed for a full face.

Next is eyes. I spray my brush with Fix+ and apply the copper shade from French connection Eyes Edit on my crease. I then add depth by adding the glitter brown shade onto my outer crease. I then add the orange shade from my NYX Lookset18 palette on my lid as a base, and the glitter brown shade on the centre of my lid to make my eyes pop. I then go back to the Eyes Edit palette and use the lightest shade for my inner corner and highlight my brow bone.

For eyeliner I use NYX Matte liquid liner on top of my lash line and Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide on Eye in Legend on my lower lash line. I then curl my eyelashes and apply Maybelline Falsies Mascara.

To conceal my under eyes I use Collections Lasting Perfection Concealer in a lighter shade. I then set that with the Banana Shade in my Makeup Revolution Contour + Highlight Palette.

Although a blush, I use Benefit Dallas as a bronzer. Using a fluffy brush I sweep this product over the hollows of my cheeks, forehead, and jawline to make them more defined. I then go in with my contour brush and accentuate these areas with my Makeup Revolution contour powder.

To highlight, I revert back to my absolute favourite highlighter; the Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Kit and the shade Starburst. Using a fan brush I apply this stunning powder on my cheeks, nose, inner corners of my eyes and cupids bow. For a night out you can never have enough highlight!

Finally, for lips I apply a combination of Soap and Glory’s Sexy Mother Pucker and NYX’S Matte Liquid Lipstick in Rouge to top the whole look off.

I then set all of this with Mac Mineralize powder in Medium Deep and Max Fix+ to keep my makeup locked on all night.  And there we have it!

What are your favourite products to wear on a night out?
