Feb Faves

February 28, 2018

Hey! I been trying out a lot of different products at the moment, which I cannot wait to share with you all, here are some of my favourites this February.

Nutrient Wise Vitamin C Serum:

Thanks to Nutrient Wise I was sent the Vitamin C Serum. This formula, in addition to Vitamin C, also contains Hyaluronic Acid and collagen to help boost skin cell turnover for a rejuvenated face. Another bonus – it doubles up as a primer! The serum itself is quite runny and yellow in colour, with a little certainly going a long way. Its perfect for my skincare routine, leaving my skin hydrated and less dull every morning. At the moment its on sale for £5.95 on Amazon , so when I finish this bottle I will be repurchasing a new one.

Carbon Coco Ultimate Carbon Kit:

Although I will be doing a full review of this once I have completed the cycle, I could not wait to share this product with you guys. I am so glad that Carbon Coco contacted me regarding this product as I had already heard of this brand before and was in need of a teeth whitening kit. Carbon Coco claim to naturally brighten teeth without any harsh chemicals within 2 weeks. I have been using this for just a week and I have already noticed a difference without any thinning of the enamel, which was my primary concern. This kit comes with Activated Charcoal, Activated Charcoal Toothpaste, Bamboo Toothbrush and a little carry bag for travelling. Stay tuned for a full review to see if my thoughts change, at the moment however I am really happy with this product.

Chelsea Boots:

Winters can be surprisingly harsh in England, with the weather being very unpredictable. So me being me, used the weather as a perfect excuse to buy some new boots (because I need to be able to withstand the ice right?) I found the perfect pair from TK Maxx, as they have a 90s vibe and are made to withstand English winter weather.

Nominated for many awards, I had to watch I, Tonya. Based on a true story, the premise of the film is focused in figure skater Tonya Harding and a particular “incident” which impacted her life enormously. The portrayals by both Margot Robbie and Allison Janney were truly superb. Although a difficult watch at times, I still do highly recommend it as it is a very well made film.

Although this last month I have been listening to a lot more classics, I have most certainly rekindled my love for Kings of Leon. I absolutely adore their WALLS album and hope to see them some point this year. In terms of recent music, I have been warming to Dua Lipa’s album. For me, she fits in the category of “guilty pleasure” music, having a feel good vibe. She is also another artist I am hoping to see this year.

What are your favourites this month?

*I was kindly gifted both the Nutrient Wise Serum and Carbon Coco Kit, but all opinions are honest and my own*
