Hey guys, hope you are all well! No we have a lot of time at home, I have found myself bringing out my domesticated self and cleaning my house over and over. I have moved house more times than I can count (well 6 in 20 years actually, plus 3 places at university), so I am pretty used to living out of boxes and suitcases. My bedroom, still a work in progress but it is at the point where I am content, so here we have it.
I have had by bed for around 6 years now, after having a single bed for what felt like a lifetime. It does have underbed storage, but when I last moved house the removers did not fit it properly, resulting in it breaking. Not a huge issue as I already have enough storage.
My bedding is from B&M (around £25) and the throw was a gift from TK Maxx. My gray cushions are from Primark and were £5 each. Next to my bed I also have a couple of B&M storage boxes just to hold my socks and accessories.
Although I don’t go away as much as I would like – I love travelling. This map is £30 from IKEA and I absolutely love it. I am planning to get little stickers to put on the places I have been.
At the moment is is a tad crowded, but it’s got all my essentials there. Obviously essentials being eyeshadow, highlighter and hand cream. I got these stunning slate coasters from B&M, what I love about them is the weight, for something so affordable they are really high quality.
I am 20 years old, and I have literally just got a tv for my room. As a child it was never allowed, purely because I would never make it downstairs but I think it’s now finally time. I have also got my xbox connected so late night gaming it is.
I love football, and since I was 13 I have always had something in my room. I have my shirt, scarf and framed picture like a little fangirl, and I honestly live for it.
Mirror and Cabinet
My cabinet is filled with little trinkets – I love a bedroom that shows little pieces of your personality. On top of my record player, I have some of my favourite magazines (every blogger has them), and some of my favourite Chelsea programmes. I also have a love heart coaster with my favourite yankee candle (baby powder that is), a battery operated candle (saves the fire hazard) and a pebble I got from the Promenade Des Anglais in Nice.
My mirror is one of my favourite things in my bedroom. I have no idea how much it was as it was bought years ago, but it is from John Lewis so I would assume it was not on the cheaper side. It is perfect for planning my outfits and doing my hair etc.. On either side of my mirror I have a venetian mask and a wooden list of cities, adding to the travel theme.
As my room is full of monochrome colours, it needed a bit of colour, hence the wall of pink. As you can see, many of these items are decorative but I think it adds to the personalisation of my room.
