Cleansing and toning products are a staple to a healthy daily routine. Here are some of the products I use as everyday to maintain hydrated skin.
1. Garnier Micellar Water (£4.99)
Using this is a super easy way to take your makeup after a long hard day. All you need to do is swipe the product across your face using a cotton pad, which is not a difficult job, as for me, it takes 10x longer to apply my makeup anyway! This is also perfect for sensitive skin, as it causes no irritation.
2. Simple Micellar Water (£4.49)
I personally feel like this is just as good as the garnier micellar water, if not better. It easily gets rid of any makeup, in addition to hydrating your skin with essential vitamins. I also find myself reaching for this remover, as I tend to use less product on my face. This stuff is amazing!
3. Clinique Anti Blemish Cleansing Foam (£18.00)
If you have problematic skin, this is a very good product for prevention and treatment. I bought this as part of a 30 day trial, and now being at the latter stages I am finally starting to see a difference in my face. Therefore, I think starting with the full size product is a good idea because it takes a fair amount of time to start seeing results. I have had quite a couple of hormonal breakouts over the last month, which is maybe why I’ve not seen as good results for my acne scars, but I would still recommend this product.
4. Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash (£3.45)
For daily use, this facial wash is so good. It ensures that your skin does not get ruined by harsh chemicals as well as giving your face a lovely, hydrated glow. What I’ve also found out is that it significantly reduces the redness on my face, which I love (reminds me of aloe vera). I would recommend this for inflamed skin.
5. Clinique Anti Blemish Clarifying Lotion (£18.00)
This cleansing lotion is perfect for getting rid of excess dirt or oil on your skin. The clinical smell actually warms to me (call me weird if you like), think its because it makes me feel like my skin is clean. The product has a thin layer of salicylic acid at the bottom, just a shake is required before use. if you are one for double cleansing – like myself, this product is an essential in your morning and evening routines.
6. Simple Kind To Skin Soothing Facial Toner (£3.29)
For a daily toner, this does the job. It hydrates and tones the skin, and works better with other Simple products. Although I don’t use this twice a day, I feel like once is enough for your skin to feel properly hydrated, as well as being incredibly affordable.
