What I Got For Christmas 2016

Hey guys! Firstly, I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas, and are hopefully taking the festive days off to catch up on some well deserved rest. Now I love these sort of posts – so felt is was only fair to give back. So here’s what I got for Christmas this year!

From my Aunt I received the Ted Baker perfectly polished. I have loved Ted Baker since I was a young’un, because they never skimp on quality. I have yet to try this out, but the packaging is purely delightful. From my unknown Secret Santa I received the Technic nudes set. What I love about nude shades is that they can be complemented with so many outfits, so cannot wait to try these out.

Bath & Body:

From my Secret Santa (I really need to find out who this person is), I got a bath tea bag and the Grace Cole Gifting Collection (Bergamot, Ginger and Lemongrass). I have never used a bath tea bag before so am so excited to try it out. I have tried Grace Cole products before, and absolutely love the luxurious feel. This set contains a body wash, body cream and a loofah, all encased in a beautiful bag. From my friend Ella, I was given the Soap & Glory Full Sparks set, containing a shimmer cream and lip gloss. I have many S&G products, and love them all, which is why I am sure I will enjoy this gift.

From my Uncle, surprisingly, I received the EcoTools “Mystic Luxe Duo Brush set”. I have wanted to try EcoTools brushes for what seems like forever. I have yet to try these but they are so soft! A little added touch is on the reverse side of the brush, where they tell the user what the brush is for, like RealTechniques do. I personally do not need it, but its nice for those who are getting into makeup. It also comes with a neat little brush bag.

My cousins bought me the Models Own “All  About Eyes Kit”. This kit has 8 liners, which are so pigmented they can be used as an eyeshadow as well. I wanted some coloured liners as well, to create retro and weird looks, so I am very glad I got these.

From my bestie Charlie I received the Mac Mineralize Skinfinish Powder in Medium Deep. To both of our surprise she got the shade right – which is something I can’t even do myself. This powder is just what I needed too, as my foundation needed an industrial powder to control the oil. Plus, it was on my Christmas Wishlist.

From my cousin, I received a £15 Mac voucher. Now I have the challenge of wondering what to spend it on. Any suggestions?

From my friend Karolina I was incredibly surprised – I received the Kylie Jenner Mini Mattes as part of her birthday collection. As this was released in August, it was a well planned present. The colours are beautiful and the staying power is phenomenal. I am so happy with this.

In addition to a whole new wardrobe and a Sanctuary Spa Advent Calendar, my parents got me the Pandora Forget Me Not ring, which was also on my wishlist. I am ever so grateful for this because it was a complete surprise.

In addition to all of these, I also received a few token gifts and money, which I will probably spend on a new eyeshadow palette, contour kit, setting spray and mascara. Overall, I am incredibly grateful for everything I received this year. What did you guys receive this Christmas?
