Hey! I am forever on the search for pearly whites – as an avid tea and coffee drinker, I definitely pay the price. That’s why I was extremely chuffed when Carbon Coco got in touch and wanted to send me their Ultimate Carbon Kit. I have been trying this product out for a couple of weeks now, and am ready to give my honest verdict.
The Carbon Coco Ultimate Carbon Kit Contains:
Activated Charcoal Tooth paste, Activated Charcoal Tooth Polish and a Bamboo Bristle Tooth Brush.

The Activated Charcoal Tooth Polish
Unlike the usual activated charcoal from health stores, this is made of finely milled Organic Coconut Activated Charcoal with a hint of Bentonite Clay and Lemon Myrtle.
The Activated Charcoal Toothpaste
This is a toothpaste formula that doesn’t have fluoride but activated charcoal instead. The toothpaste is black but turns into white foam while brushing, and has a minty taste. The toothpaste is designed to protect your teeth from further staining throughout the day, so you won’t mess up your results if you love coffee and coloured drinks!
Claims:
- Naturally Whiter Teeth
- Removes Stains
- Strong Teeth and Healthy Gums
- Long Lasting Spearmint Fresh Breath
- Naturally Antibacterial to kill viruses & bacteria in your mouth & detox the body
- Bad Breath sufferers report huge improvements
How To Use The Carbon Coco Ultimate Carbon Kit:
“Simply dip a wet toothbrush into the fine, odourless and tasteless black dust. Brush in small gentle circles for two minutes. Spit it out carefully, rinse really well – then use the toothpaste by brushing in small gentle circles for two minutes. Spit it out carefully, rinse really well and you’re done. Your mouth will feel amazingly clean.”
Application:
With this kit, the application has been kept very easy and simple. The formula of the charcoal is not too drying in the mouth making it especially easy to use. The toothpaste ensures that all the charcoal has disappeared in the mouth and leaves a minty fresh taste. The best thing about this application is the separate toothbrush, meaning that your normal brush does not get damaged and the soft bristles avoid abrasion on the teeth.

Pros:
- Easy to use
- Tooth brush supplied
- Tooth paste has mint flavour
- Gives a really deep clean and all products are vegan-friendly and cruelty free!
Cons:
- Can get messy – The charcoal seems to go everywhere
- The charcoal container does not have a cover, unscrewing the lid can cause it to go everywhere
- The charcoal can sometimes be difficult to get out of my teeth
Overall Thoughts :
In all honesty, I really like this product. The toothpaste is an added bonus which works really well in conjunction with the charcoal. The charcoal is not harsh on your teeth, and I feel as though they are getting a really deep clean which lasts all day. I have not noticed HUGE differences in the brightness of my teeth, but they are definitely whiter and I will be continuing to use this product and hopefully see even better results. At the moment, I am loving this whitening kit and would recommend to anyone who wants whiter teeth!

March 21, 2018 at 10:44 pmI’ve been testing out a few teeth whitening kits recently on a search for dazzling white teeth but I’ve not heard of this brand before, I love that they give you a wee toothbrush too! The charcoal products I’ve tried I have to admit have not been great, they’ve tasted pretty vile and left a bit of a horrible taste in my mouth (thank god for minty fresh toothpaste!) My favourite so far has been one of those blue light kits but I can’t remember the brand name, maybe Luster or something? I noticed such a good difference in just two days, couldn’t believe it! I’ve done a few vlogs (I’m a proper beginner vlogger so the quality is awful, apologies) for a new review site, here’s the address if you want to check it out! http://www.nice-gnashers.co.uk.

March 23, 2018 at 2:44 pmThat’s so interesting! I’m the same, I’m not a huge fan of brushing with charcoal but when some of them give the results they do you cannot be disappointed! Yeah sure I’ll check your site out!xx
