Hey all, hope you’re all having a wonderful Easter! With all this lovely weather, I wishing I wasn’t hid away in my room revising for exams, but hey ho, summer is coming. Here’s me reminiscing about my day trip to Monte Carlo, and the top places to visit.
Casino de Monte-Carlo
- opened in 1863
- famously asscociated with James Bond
- Entry is 17 Euros to visit inside
Princes Palace
- Built in 1191
- Today the palace is home to Prince Rainier’s son and successor, Prince Albert II
Port Hercules
Sainte-Dévote Chapel
- Restored in the 1600s
Saint-Charles Church, Monaco
- Opened in 1883
Grand Prix Track
- Seasonal of course, at the time I went they were still building the stands
The Cars Collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco
- Nearly 100 cars
- Collection began in the 1950s
The wonderful views:
Even though the weather was a disappointment, I completely love the city. Have you ever been to Monte Carlo? Would you like to go?
