Hey all! When Femme Luxe got in contact with me a few weeks ago, I cannot tell you how excited I was to be working with a clothing brand. Femme Luxe kindly sent me some clothing in return for a completely honest review so here goes!
Khaki Cold Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dress (£14.99):
I have got to admit, I am in love with this dress. It is perfect for dressing up, or dressing down, with tights and boots for a colder day, and with converse for spring. It has such a unique design with an off the shoulder and strap style, and a belt to shape the middle of the dress. Given the choice, I would also wear this everyday as it is so comfortable and perfect to lounge around in!
Grey Cold Shoulder Cut Out Jersey Dress (£14.99):
Gotta be honest, I am not a huge fan of this item. As I loved the look of the khaki dress so much, I decided to get it in grey as well. However when it arrived, it was not the way I had expected it. A different material has been used with the grey item, one that is much thinner. Also, the edges look like they have been cut, and although they are straight, they have not been seamed up, looking like they will be prone to fraying. I think this will be quite the issue in the wash – I might have to even hand wash this dress. Don’t get me wrong, this dress is lovely, it just doesn’t fit as well as the khaki alternative.
Blue Striped Button Detail Midi Tea Dress (£16.99)
I don’t know what it was but I completely drawn to this dress. My intention was to get another dress, yet this was always in the back of my mind. I can just imagine days in the summer wearing this with some lovely flats and feeling so dainty and lovely. When tried on, this dress is so much more lightweight than I thought, perfect for hot days. I cannot wait to wear this!
Rose Bardot Button Mini Dress (£12.99)
This dress is gorgeous. The nude / rose colour is very flattering on almost everyone. Again, like many of the other dress I received, this can be dressed up for a night out or dressed down. It fits perfectly like a bodycon dress, however is much thicker, keeping you warm. Absolutely love this dress!
