What I Got For Christmas 2019

Hey! hope you all had a wonderful Christmas! I love these posts, I mean we all love to be a little nosey right? Here’s what I received this year (as always, I have no intention of bragging or boasting, I just want to write posts that you enjoy reading).

From my Mum and Dad:

Exercise Bike – Although this is usually something to get offended at, its something I have wanted for quite a while. I had an asthma scare back in the summer, and I am pre-diabetic, so ensuring I can stay mildly fit is a priority – hence the bike.

Slippers – Again, something I needed. The ones I bought 2 years ago are beyond dead (uni killed them), so new ones appear! These are from Next by the way.

Coffee Machine – I haven’t had one of these for years, my old Tassimo was acting up so resided in the cupboard longer than I can remember. My parents must actually listen to me (a genuine surprise I must admit) because I had mentioned that I wanted to turn my kitchen into a private coffee shop for myself, and this is exactly what I needed to do so.

Blender – I am so glad I got this, it’s something I kept forgetting to buy, but eventually would. I love a morning smoothie, but only have a stick blender which isn’t the greatest mind you, so time for an upgrade I guess.

I also received the Chelsea calendar – I get one of these every year and it’s really become a family tradition.

Chelsea Tickets – I mean, I bought this for my Dad, but at the end of the day I’m going too so I guess it’s a gift to myself.

From my Boyfriend I received this years’ Chelsea shirt – perfect as it was something I needed but would never fork out for. Funnily enough I never mentioned it, but did to my Dad who didn’t pass it on? How he knew bamboozles me. Again, I got Lewis tickets to Bletchley Park (we’re both real nerdy) and my parents have paid for a meal at a fancy steakhouse whenever we decide to go, so I guess you could say it’s another gift for myself.

Got to admit, I was spoiled rotten by my Boyfriend’s family. First of all I recieved a set of The Fuzzy Duck soaps, perfect for the bathrooms back at uni. I also received an eye mask, I am sure they have all heard the stories of me not sleeping – this one is gray silk and feels so soft. A also got a Christmas mug with hot chocolate in – which I adore! I then got a microwavable warmer as my Boyfriend’s Mum is not a fan of hot water bottles, which quite frankly I swear by. I was in awe when I realised they had bought a Guess Cosmetics bag – perfectly matching my purse and watch. These gifts are all just so thoughtful which really meant a lot. They also got my parents the No.155 Candle from The White Company which was so incredibly kind of them.

From my Uncle, Aunt and cousins Anya and Ava I received a Smashbox Try Me Primer Kit. I am always experimenting with Primer, as the only one I have ever liked is the Benefit porefessional – but I must admit, it’s a bit full on and pricey to use everyday. These primers are travel sized, which for me is ideal with transporting back to uni. I also have a present which is “currently in production” so that will be listed in due course.

From my Cousin Saya:

Not going to lie, she spoiled me rotten this year (admittedly she always does). Firstly, I got an Echo Dot, which has surprisingly come in handy – although trying to tell my Mum she doesn’t need to stand next to it to talk, or have to say please and thank you is a challenge.

I also got this beautiful candle holder, a perfect centrepiece on my dining table and a real nice homely touch.

I also received the Urban Decay Born to Run palette which I absolutely adore. The shades pretty much cover every event and the casing itself has some gorgeous travel photos on. This will be perfect to take on holiday with me next month!

From my other cousins Jay and Sheena I got some beautiful jewellery from Accessorize – simple and wearable, brilliant as I don’t like anything too dressy.

I also got some biscuits from Fortnum and Mason, these are gorgeous and perfect gifts!

When I took the wrapping paper off I was shocked to find a Versace box, and when I opened it, a beautiful perfume bottle and body lotion appeared. The bottle is simply beautiful and the perfume is perfect for special occasions where my normal Zara perfume won’t do. Such a lovely gift.

From my friend Karolina and her wonderful girls I got some beautiful Infinity Earrings from Pandora. I love silver earrings and these are so wearable. Got to say it was love at first sight!
