Hey guys! As the seasons are changing, there are more and more reasons to do a little retail therapy (or maybe a lot). Primark, for any of those who do not know is a low budget store with highly fashionable items. This year, they have really upped their game and brought out a superb range of autumn and winter wear. Here’s what I bought.
skirts
Leather Skirt (£8) – A total wardrobe staple piece, this skirt is perfect for a night out. Easily adaptable and versatile this skirt is lovely to have in your wardrobe for a last minute outfit idea.
Corduroy Skirt (£10) -I was in need of a nice daily skirt and I found it in Primark. With tortoise shell buttons and a corduroy print, this skirt could be work with a basic t-shirt tucked in.
Going Out Skirt (£10) – I fell in love with this skirt as soon as I saw it. With tortoise shell buttons and a wrap round belt, this skirt can be worn for a casual evening or a wild night out. Perfect staple for the wardrobe.
Going Out Top (£5) – Already tied up, this crop top is perfect for a casual night out as it is such a good fit. Either match with a pair of black shorts or a leather skirt to complete the look.
Crop Top (£5) – Matched with some baggy Mom jeans and a pair of converse, this crop top is a lovely staple to have in your wardrobe when you want to look like you have made an effort when that is not the case.
Jumpers:
Red Sweatshirt (£5) – In a beautiful autumnal red shade, this sweatshirt is lovely and soft, ideal for those lazy days. My only concern is that the inner lining fluff does get everywhere, but well worth it for the comfort.
Cream Jumper (£10) – Bought in a size large, I could not resist the feel of this jumper. Made for early mornings as a throw on jumper, it can be paired with or without a jacket, skinny jeans and ankle boots.
Grey Jumper (£13) – Primark have really impressed me with their jumpers this year. This grey jumper, in a size 18, is lovely and warm to snuggle into after a long day. The turtleneck is also perfect for keeping my neck warm too.
Denim Jacket (£25) – This year I was adamant not to buy a denim jacket from Primark and get something a little more expensive. Unfortunately for me I could not resist and found the perfect jacket. This jacket was in the men’s section in an extra small, and it is perfectly oversized without drowning me. With a white fluffy inner lining, this is perfect for the colder months.
Hat (£4) – Being part of the blogging world means that I am aware of many popular fashion items. Baker boy hats are so in at the moment, and I thought for £4 it may be worth trying the trend out myself. Hats are not really my thing, but hey, what could go wrong?
Gloves (£9) – Such a necessity during the winter months. I bought a lovely leather pair to keep my hands nice and cosy, as well as not making them damp in the wet weather.
Flannel Shirts x 2 (£7, £7) – I love a flannel shirt. These are perfect for lounging around the house in, and the perfect sleep shirt. I got both of these in a size 18 to make them nice and oversized (I am a size 8).
Exfoliating Mitt (£1.50) – After using my Sanctuary Spa until absolute death it was about time this got replaced. This mitt is perfect as it has one exfoliating side that is not too harsh on the skin and a softer side for cleansing and cleaning.
Earring Studs (£1.50) – Another staple from Primark. These pack comes with 12 pairs of earrings, all in varying sizes. And for the price there is not much panic if I lose them (which is very likely).
Reed Diffuser (£1) – I mean for a pound where can you go wrong. I opted for a “Pink Lemonade”, smelling like rhubarb and lemon. This also comes in a beautiful pink label, which perfectly compliments the theme of my living room.
